Our story

DocStow began with a practical household problem: important records were spread across email, paper folders, downloads, and cloud drives, while expiry dates lived somewhere else entirely. The product was built to bring those pieces into one calmer system: store the document, record the key details, and see renewal reminders before a deadline becomes stressful.

What we believe

Family life generates a mountain of paperwork. Passports, visas, birth certificates, insurance policies, tenancy agreements, school forms, vehicle inspections and registrations, medical records, wills, warranties — the list never stops growing. We believe managing it shouldn't feel like a second job. DocStow is built on three principles:

• Your data is yours. We never sell your data or use your documents to train AI models. We only share data with the service providers needed to run DocStow, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Privacy is non-negotiable. Every document is protected with encryption in transit and provider-managed encrypted storage controls.
• Simple beats clever. If your grandmother can't use it, we haven't finished building it yet.

How support works

Support requests go to support@docstow.com. Privacy requests go to privacy@docstow.com, and suspected security vulnerabilities should be reported privately to security@docstow.com. We triage account access, billing, and security issues first, then product questions and feature requests.

Where we're headed

We're continuing to improve family sharing, renewal workflows, mobile access, and privacy-first automation. New AI features remain optional and are designed to reduce manual typing, not replace your own judgement over important legal, financial, or identity documents.
