Delete your account or manage your data

DocStow is operated by Infadale Solutions. You can request deletion even if you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in.

Delete your full DocStow account

When signed in, open Settings → Security → Delete account. We ask you to confirm the request with your current password and the phrase shown in the app. This protects your household data from an accidental or unauthorised deletion request.

In the Android app, open Settings and choose Delete account. You will be taken to the same secure, signed-in deletion flow.

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@docstow.com with the email address on your account and the subject “DocStow account deletion request”. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request is yours before acting on it.

What account deletion removes

Account deletion removes your active DocStow account and associated active data. This includes account and profile information, household membership, uploaded documents and document images, cards and card images, document metadata, reminders, tasks, expenses, Smart Inbox records, notification preferences and delivery records, device and push records, sharing records, and connected-storage preferences. Where a DocStow-connected Google Drive file belongs to your account, we also attempt to remove the DocStow-known file and revoke the connection.

If you own a household, deleting your account also removes that household's shared DocStow content. Please export any records you or household members need before proceeding.

Manage individual data without deleting your account

• Documents and scanned images: open the document and choose Delete. Where relevant, you can also remove linked reminders, tasks or expenses.
• Cards and photos: open the card to delete the card or remove an individual front or back photo.
• Reminders, tasks and expenses: manage or delete them from their respective dashboard or mobile screens.
• Profile photo and phone number: update or remove them from your profile in the Android app.
• Google Drive: disconnect it from Settings to revoke future DocStow access. Files already in your Google Drive remain governed by your Google account unless you delete them there.

Timing and limited retention

We complete deletion of active account data within 30 days of a valid request. Backups are purged within 90 days. We may retain a limited amount of information where required or permitted for billing, tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. We do not retain active documents or account access for those purposes.

If you have an active subscription, we cancel it as part of a successful permanent account deletion. For assistance with a subscription or a deletion request, contact privacy@docstow.com.
