Vehicle paperwork rarely arrives in one neat bundle. Registration details, insurance, service invoices, repair notes, and renewal dates can easily end up split across email, a glovebox, and several folders.
Build one record for each household vehicle
Vehicle Hub gives each car, motorcycle, trailer, or other household vehicle its own profile. Save the stored vehicle details, then keep the documents and costs that support that record close by.
- Vehicle type, make, model, variant, year, registration and VIN.
- Purchase details and notes that help explain the record later.
- Insurance, servicing, repair, ownership, and registration documents.
- Costs recorded against the vehicle, so the history is easier to review.
Choose the dates that matter to you
Use reminders for service, insurance, vehicle licence, inspection, or any other date you choose to track. Active dated reminders appear in Calendar so the household can see what is next. Check requirements with the relevant provider or NZTA before acting; DocStow does not retrieve official vehicle data or set a legal timetable for you.
Keep documents and costs connected
Link existing documents to the vehicle when they belong to its history. When you log a cost, it is also recorded in Expenses with the vehicle connection intact. That makes the profile a practical view, while Documents and Expenses remain the places where those records are managed.
Make it workable for the whole household
Vehicle profiles are household records. Current plan allowances are one vehicle on Free, three on Pro, and ten on Family. See the pricing table for the current limits, then start with the vehicle that causes the most admin today.
